Reflective, Supportive and Collaborative Clinical Supervision

Supervision provides an opportunity to pause, reflect and think deeply about your work, your clients and your development as a practitioner.

Whether you are newly qualified, an experienced therapist, or currently in training, effective supervision can support ethical practice, professional growth and practitioner wellbeing.

At Sawubona Wellness Collective, I offer a collaborative supervisory relationship that balances support, reflection and appropriate challenge, creating a space where you can explore your work openly and honestly.

I provide clinical supervision in Leeds and York, as well as online supervision for practitioners across the UK.

My Approach to Supervision

I believe that supervision should be a space where practitioners feel safe enough to bring uncertainty, complexity and vulnerability, whilst also being supported to develop confidence, competence and professional curiosity.

My approach is grounded in the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, which encourages exploration not only of the client and the work being undertaken, but also of the wider relational, organisational and systemic influences that may be impacting the therapeutic process.

This model allows us to consider:

  • The client and their experience

  • The interventions and therapeutic work

  • The relationship between therapist and client

  • Your internal responses as the practitioner

  • The supervisory relationship

  • Wider organisational and systemic influences

  • The broader context within which the work takes place

By exploring these different perspectives, supervision can deepen understanding, enhance reflective practice and support more effective therapeutic work.
